Virginia Woolf’s Students’ Academic Society announces the forthcoming meeting on the 3rd of April (Monday), 6.30 pm, room 2.20. During the meeting, we shall explore the meaning of feminism and spirituality, as well as community in the 21st century; we are going to discuss Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler.
Virginia Woolf’s Students’ Academic Society is addressed to students interested in English-language literature and culture with regard to a gender perspective, and to those planning ahead their future academic careers (i.e. potential candidates for doctoral schools). Along with academic debates, discussions, conferences and seminars, the society is also an opportunity to become acquainted with other B.A. and M.A. students and exchange your ideas and opinions with them. Virginia Woolf’s Students’ Academic Society is run by students and you decide what form it takes. The chairwoman is Ms Katarzyna Nowak. The scholarly guidance is provided by dr hab. Katarzyna Ostalska who warmly welcomes all students wishing to join in.
