Małgorzata Hołda. Doktor hab. nauk humanistycznych w zakresie literaturoznawstwa. Prof UŁ w Zakładzie Literatury i Kultury Brytyjskiej. Prowadzi interdyscyplinarne badania w dziedzinie literatury i filozofii obejmujące powieść modernistyczną i postmodernistyczną, hermeneutykę filologiczną i filozoficzną (w szczególności Paula Ricoeura hermeneutykę osoby jako l’homme capable oraz hermeneutykę Hansa-Georga Gadamera), estetykę, fenomenologię i filozofię postmodernistyczną.

Autorka On Beauty and Being: Hans-Georg Gadamer’s and Virginia Woolf’s Hermeneutics of the Beautiful, Peter Lang, 2021. Doktorat w zakresie literatury brytyjskiej na podstawie rozprawy: Between Liberal Humanism and Postmodernist Fun: The Fiction of Malcolm Bradbury (Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu, 2006). Doktorat w zakresie filozofii na podstawie dysertacji pt. Paul Ricoeur’s Concept of Subjectivity and the Postmodern Claim of the Death of the Subject, Uniwersytet Papieski Jana Pawła II w Krakowie, nagrodzony nagrodą Rektora (Ignatianum University Press 2018). Senior Associate Fellow of the International Institute for Hermeneutics. Przynależy do międzynarodowych stowarzyszeń i organizacji: Virginia Woolf Society of Great Britain (London), The European Society for Aesthetics, Central and East European Society for Phenomenology, The Australasian Modernist Studies Network i New Voices on Women in the History of Philosophy International Project. Redaktor tematyczny czasopisma Text Matters: A Journal in Literature, Theory and Culture.
